Commissioning Process
CHOICE OF PORTRAIT AND BACKGROUND
The first thing to do is to choose the size of the portrait and the subjects it will contain. Then click on the ‘Order Portrait’ button. You will be taken to a page where you can fill in the form with details of the size, technique, subjects, etc. It would be nice if you could choose the type of background, either a gradient of your preferred colour or a more personalised one (such as landscapes, added objects, etc). Once the form has been sent, I will contact you to talk about the ideas you have in mind and specify the type of work.
PAYMENT PROCESS
Once you have specified the type of portrait you want (size, technique, subjects, background...) and you have sent me the reference photos, I will send you the invoice so you can make the payment. The invoice will be sent to your email via Paypal, but don't worry if you don't have Paypal, you can pay by credit card or any other method you prefer.
Once the payment is done, I will start with the work. The time varies depending on the size, details, etc. Keep in mind that it is difficult to know how long a work will take. That's why I give an approximate time of 1 month, it can take less or more if the work is more complex.
REFERENCE PHOTOS AND PERSONALITY OF THE SUBJECT
In order to make the portrait, I will need one or more reference photos of the subject to be portrayed, be it dog, cat, rodent, etc. You can send them in the portrait order form or later. Photos in good quality and from various perspectives would help me a lot to define the details of the subject, but send me what you have and I can work with it.
Apart from the photos, I will need a description of the subject, their personality, character, their story or anything else you can tell me.
SHIPPING
When the artwork is finished, I will give you the notice to provide me with a shipping address. Once you confirm that you are satisfied with the result, I will proceed to send it.
The portrait will arrive to you very well protected, with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity, instructions for the care of the work, a personalised card and a miniature photo of the portrait.
VIDEOS OF THE PROCESS
I like to record the process of each portrait and share it on my social networks, I think it is nice to see the evolution of a blank canvas, to the creation of a special and unique work. The publication will be once you have received your portrait.
If you prefer not to have your work published, let me know before starting the work and I will only share it with you.
Order Your Portrait
To request your portrait, fill in the form with your details and the type of portrait you want, specifying the size, technique, background, etc. Once the form has been sent, I will contact you within 24 - 48 hours to discuss the details of your work, what you have in mind and to resolve any doubts you may have.
